Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP)

– aims to indicate actions and conditions for the reduction of final energy in the city of Bydgoszcz, and thus the reduction of greenhouse gas (CO2) emissions. The need to prepare the Plan stems from the commitment made by the City of Bydgoszcz when it joined the Covenant of Mayors, under which members assume the obligation to implement the EU climate and energy policy 3×20. The City of Bydgoszcz has committed itself to reduce the volume of greenhouse gas emissions by min. 20% in 2020 compared to the base year for which 2005 was assumed.

Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP) for the City of Bydgoszcz for the years 2012-2020 was adopted by resolution XXXV/723/12 of the Bydgoszcz City Council of 28 November 2012.

The Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP) report aims to indicate the actions taken during the reporting period to reduce final energy in the city of Bydgoszcz and thus to reduce greenhouse gas (CO2) emissions. According to the Covenant of Mayors principles, signatories of the Covenant of Mayors are obliged to submit reports on the implementation of the Plan every two years.

The report from the Sustainable Energy Action Plan (SEAP) for the City of Bydgoszcz for the years 2012-2020 was adopted by resolution LXIII/1326/14 of the Bydgoszcz City Council of 29 October 2014.
