Money for the modernization of waste processing installations


From May, you can apply for money for the construction, modernization or extension of waste treatment installations. The National Fund for Environmental Protection and Water Management will be able to obtain a loan of up to 100% of the costs.

The funds come from the 2nd part of the “Rational waste management” program. Under it, you can get money, among others for the extension or modernization of regional municipal waste treatment installations, provided that they concern adaptation to the treatment of separately collected waste or a biological part.

Co-financing is foreseen for investments consisting of:

construction, extension, modernization:
installations for the fermentation or composting of separately collected municipal bio-waste,
installations for thermal treatment of waste generated from municipal waste, with heat generated in cogeneration,
installations for recycling plastic waste, used tires or multi-material packaging,
installations for recycling construction waste.
extension or modernization of existing regional installations (RIPOK) by adapting to the treatment of waste collected selectively
extension or modernization of the biological part of existing mechanical and biological waste treatment installations (without increasing the processing capacity of the mechanical part)
Applications can be submitted from May 20, 2019 to December 20, 2019 at 15.30 or until the funds are allocated. It is possible to obtain a loan of up to 100% of eligible costs. And in the case of subsidies up to 30% of eligible costs, its amount may not exceed PLN 20 million.
